TCI Transportation is Hiring for a Level 3 or 4 Diesel Technician to join our growing fleet!
** Level 3 Technician- Minimum 4 Years Experience in Similar Role:
You will generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment at the direction of Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor. Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair the following with little or no supervision: Clutches, PTO Systems, Electric Systems, Hydraulic/ Air Brake Systems, Heating/ Air Conditioning Systems, Instruments and Gauges, and Preventive Maintenance Service.
** Level 4 Diesel Technician- Minimum 6 Years Experience in Similar Role:
You will diagnose, adjust, and repair all series of motor truck and trailer equipment including, but not limited to the following: Engines (gas and diesel), Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Transmissions (manual and automatic), Clutches, Differentials/Power dividers, PTO systems, Starters/Alternators, Refrigeration systems, Air conditioning systems (including cold and hot units), Fan clutches, Engine electronics (gas/diesel), Power steering systems, and Steering gear box (manual and power).

Full time: $26 to $33 per hour Depending on Experience.

Job Requirements:
- Preventative Maintenance at the shop and customer's facilities when required
- General maintenance, PMs and vehicle inspections.
- Diagnostic/troubleshooting and repairs on different levels
- California 90 day BIT & Federal USDOT inspections
- Must own your own tools and tool programs available
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Pass background & drug screen
- Trade school, mechanical course and or hands on experience
- Self-motivated & Leadership skills a plus
- Able to perform all facets of mechanical and technical skills
