Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) oversees all activities of a residence hall. Oversees the maintenance and renovation, purchase and inventory of supplies, assignment of rooms and summer housing, and housekeeping functions. Being a Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) is responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Ensures students follow college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Additionally, Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) room and board in the residence hall is included in the terms of employment. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. ### Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Lead to join our team. The Staff Lead will be responsible for managing a team, overseeing daily operations, covering shifts when staffing is limited and ensuring compasssion to all. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, respect for all lifestyles, and the ability to work in an instense and challenging work enviroment
### Duties:
- Find, interview, hire and supervise all community support specialist staff
- Train new staff members on company policies and procedures
- Ensure that all employees provide exceptional care for others
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Create a schedule for all CCS staff and cordinate with the overnight manager to ensure conituous coverage of the shelter 24 hours a day
-Find and schedule staff training opportunites
- Schedule monthly staff check-ins with all staff and more as needed
- Conduct regular monthy staff meetings
- Communicate with staff to schedule all staff meetings, and send out notes after
- Provide support to Community Support Specialists while in the shelter, working to create a space of calm by assisting with de-escalating conflict
- Maintain the staff clock-in tablet and corrections page, make any necessary changes in Quickbooks
- Review paper timesheets and turn them in with Accounts Payable paperwork
- Participate as an on-call manager in a one week rotating schedule
-Assist with other duties as assigned
