Oversees the maintenance and renovation, purchase and inventory of supplies, assignment of rooms and summer housing, and housekeeping functions. Being a Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Room, Board) is responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Ensures students follow college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Additionally, Res. Hall Manager (Incl. Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our entertainment business. This includes managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining store appearance.
Working Conditions:
Full-time. 35-40 hours/week. Work is weekday afternoons/evenings and weekend hours. Entertainment Business is open Wednesday through Sunday. Reliable transportation and lifting/carrying props up to 30lbs required.
Responsibilities:
- Running Escape Rooms: Escape Room set-up, including staging and re-setting the puzzle/game room, paying attention to specific details to ensure that all game elements are set up properly.
- Develop weekly employee schedule. Interview, hire, and train new employees. Conduct employee orientation sessions to ensure understanding of company policies and procedures
- Monitor and respond to phone calls, messages, and emails. Provide exceptional customer service by resolving customer complaints or issues. Availability to set up private groups during non-regular business hours.
- Ensure store is properly stocked with inventory. Maintain store appearance by organizing and cleaning displays including cleaning bathrooms and taking out trash.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to increase sales and meet targets. Collaborate with team members to develop effective social marketing campaigns.
Experience:
Ability to multitask including running 2 rooms if necessary. Social Media Experience to support marketing efforts.Previous experience in a supervising/managerial role. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to effectively train and develop employees. Excellent organization skills to complete weekly schedules for employees and private groups.
Rate of pay: $18 per hour, with raises available based on performance evaluations, which happen approximately every 6 month-1 year.
