Summary
The Project Manager I – T&D manages relationships with key stakeholders and delivers excellence for our clients on our projects. Project Managers will take ownership of the entire project performance, overseeing the construction project from start to finish, including safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction, and are responsible for contract administration, project planning, and labor and equipment resource management. They are responsible for multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
- Leads and manages a project team thru project execution, including project site team members and office support team members.
- Manages the development and updating of a fully functional schedule. Ensures that all engineering, procurement, submittals, and work plans are in place to facilitate the execution of work as scheduled.
- Develops, manages, and maintains the project execution plan covering each scope and discipline of the project(s).
- Plans and coordinates all aspects of the construction process, including hiring subcontractors and working with engineers and vendors. Negotiate contracts with engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Maintains a complete understanding of all project’s contractual obligations, including the contract's change management process.
- Tracks and manages costs to date and forecasts cost to complete.
- Analyzes and tracks earned value status and communicates and works to mitigate financial risks to a project team.
- Negotiates and manages Subcontractors. Ensures terms in the main contract are passed on to subcontracts, subcontracted, and adhered to.
- Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
- Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
- Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
- Manages purchases of project-related materials and equipment.
- Strengthens and continually maintains client relationships.
- Manages and hosts project kick-off and close-out meetings.
- Manages project-required engineering deliverables and construction permits as a prerequisite for project inception.
- Engages in continuous improvement activities within business processes and team members.
- Ensures the implementation of the RES quality control program to ensure that the processes comply with RES and project requirements.
- Provides the required documents, drawings, and other forms to active projects for monitoring and maintaining the EMS.
- Ensures timely billing and pay application to follow-ups.
Safety
- Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required.
- Certification in Project Management Professional preferred.
- 1 years' experience of equivalent and related work experience required.
- Less than 1 year' experience in a construction project management role required.
- Less than 1 year Project manager experience in EPC projects – including Substations, Transmission Lines, BESS, and Underground MV HV projects required.

Anticipated base salary range: $114,000 - $125,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
