Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) oversees all activities of a residence hall. Responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Being a Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) ensures students follow college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Incumbent is not given room and board at the residence hall as part of the employment arrangement. Additionally, Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) oversees maintenance and renovation, purchase and inventory of supplies, assignment of semester rooms and summer housing, housekeeping functions, and management of student conduct and discipline. Room and board in the residence hall is not included in the terms of employment. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Res. This position coordinates all electrical site construction activities and supervises all electrical field personnel as required to successfully complete the solar project on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent - Electrical - Solar works diligently to build a safe, high quality, profitable solar project.Requirements:
- Provides excellence in the management and delivery of the project, in-line with the client’s expectations.
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
- Manages landowner expectations, concerns, and Right of Way access.
- Provides information about site activities including accurate install rates for electrical discipline, projected task completion and hazards to the Construction Manager.
- Schedules and ensures appropriate staffing for daily construction activities with employees.
- Identifies potential schedule changes, workflow, and staffing issues.
- Maintains electrical construction schedule, identifies upcoming issues, and solves problems.
- Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.
- Understands the project plans and specifications.
- Prepares schedules and supervises completion of a final electrical punch list.
- Ensures that transmission line structures - including all foundations and required access - are built as per specification.
- Ensures site prep work is executed as per contracts, design, and specification.
- Inputs into the execution of overall construction plan.
- Reviews the engineer's drawings prior to beginning construction to ensure that the project can be built in a safe and reliable manner.
- Builds and maintains relationship with local AHJ as needed.
- Manages quality control program to ensure processes are implemented according to the design of the project and are consistent.
- Maintains an organized job site, including in the onsite construction office.
- Manages QA for electrical construction.
- Manages design change notices.
- Manages subcontractor contracts to ensure compliance.
- Manages the electrical material on site.
- Manages Safety of electrical crews to the highest level.
- Provides the required electrical documents, drawings, and other forms to active projects for monitoring and maintaining the EMS.
- Ensures all completion of all required permitting activities before commencement of work.
- Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
- Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
Qualifications:- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Must have 4 years of Solar construction environment or Utility Construction environment.
- Advanced level of knowledge in:
- Safety and OSHA requirements
- LOTO implementation & Management
- Electrical installation experience
- Interpretation of a project schedule
- Planning and task direction
- Adaptability to environment
- Working in fast paced environment

- Scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera 6)
- Proficient in construction in both electric substations (energized and green field) and transmission lines

Anticipated base salary range: $99,000- $125,000The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
