Requires a PhD in their field of specialty. Additionally, Research Fellow typically reports to a top management. The Research Fellow manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The National WWII Museum in New Orleans is now seeking the position of Research Fellow. The Research Fellow offers a unique post-doctoral educational and professional development opportunity for a high-potential individual to be a part of the intellectual life of the Institute for the Study of War and Democracy at The National WWII Museum. Fellows will engage in Museum and Institute activities, teach in the Institute’s higher education programs, perform research and writing functions for the Institute’s Historical Research Services, take part in planning for author events, symposia and conferences and represent the Museum to the scholarly community at professional and academic conferences.
The Research Fellowship term is 12 months.
This position reports to the Executive Director, Jenny Craig Institute for the Study of War and Democracy.
