Duties

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist residents during meal times, promoting healthy eating habits.
• Support residents with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
• Monitor resident behavior and report any changes or concerns to the supervising staff.
• Collaborate with other care team members to implement individualized care plans.

Experience

• Previous experience in senior care or a group home setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with dementia care practices and techniques is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting residents with mobility.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment for residents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.92 - $11.46 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
