Resident Care Coordinator coordinates, supervises, and evaluates the care of residents in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or similar facility. Schedules and trains care staff, and ensures that clinical services are delivered in accordance with regulations and professional standards. Being a Resident Care Coordinator communicates with families and medical professionals as needed, and ensures care plans for residents are properly documented and updated. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Resident Care Coordinator may require Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Resident Care Coordinator supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Resident Care Coordinator typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Brightondale is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee our team of Resident Assistants, monitor staffing levels to ensure are shifts are filled, and schedule your team while adhering to budgeted hours. This position is responsible for ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care from our team of Resident Assistants. You will monitor Individualized Care Plans and Daily Assignment Sheets and also step in when necessary to assist with resident care.
Schedule Varies: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:30am – 5pm with some on call requirements based on staffing needs.
What you will need:- An active CNA Certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in assisted living, long-term care or similar setting
