Resident Advisor is the world’s foremost platform for discovering electronic music, artists and events. Described by the NY Times as “the most influential electronic music site in the world”, every month RA reaches more than 5m people across its web, mobile and app properties.
As the Regional Manager for North America in the Global Content Network, you'll work closely with the General Manager to expand RA’s user and content base. Responsibilities include recruiting and managing City Managers and collaborating with the Global Content Network team to enhance local scenes globally.
Your key objectives involve elevating RA’s profile in North America through improved event listings, recommendations, and local content. Leading RA Community Connections events will strengthen ties with regional communities. Additionally, you'll support the revenue team, focusing on strategic business development and promoter assistance to maximize RA Ticket opportunities.

Key responsibilities:
Creating RA’s regional strategy for future growth in North America in collaboration with the General Manager and GCN Team Lead
Growing RA’s audience and profile in key cities by shaping and delivering on quarterly and annual goals
Monitoring regional data and providing feedback to the Global Content Network Team and City Managers.
Management, recruitment, and support of City Managers globally and within your region.
Continuously improve the existing structure of the GCN and work on global projects with the full-time team.
Grow RA’s involvement in local communities in key cities through community projects, partnering with local collaborators and leading on RA Community Connection events in your region.
Add events and assist with RA Picks in cities in North America without City Managers.
Acting as the liaison between our editorial team and having regular check-ins with the International Content Writer to ensure we are delivering on the Editorial goals for this region.
Help grow RA as a business in your region by working closely with our City Managers and Partnerships Managers to secure new business opportunities.
Assist with support for local promoters, users and artists where appropriate.

A passion for electronic music and an in-depth understanding of the industry
Embedded within North American scene
Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
Keen eye for detail as well as being highly organised
Ability to motivate and lead freelancers, and hold them accountable
Previous event management experience is a plus

This is a full-time permanent role, based on-site at our New York office. The salary range is $53,000 to $57,000 per year, DOE.
