Position Summary:
This role will collaborate with business leaders to create and execute HR strategies that focus on talent management, total rewards, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee development and engagement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides HR Support and Guidance to all levels of the organization, partnering closely with managers to connect people and performance to business results.
- Maintain the highest level of ethical and professional standards to promote respect and trust throughout the organization.
- Possess the drive and skills to become a trustworthy and influential HR partner. This includes establishing a tone and attitude that aligns with the role and providing the necessary assistance, follow-up, and leadership to ensure that business partners achieve desired outcomes across various business units.
- Provides support to business partners in areas of coaching, performance management, and policy interpretation.
- Responds to employee inquiries regarding compensation, policy interpretation, development opportunities and concerns regarding compliance.
- Manage Tuition reimbursement program.
- Advises managers on potential issues by collecting information, reviewing, and interpreting data, and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of HR
- Participate in all internal/external audits within the HR department as needed.
- Communicate and administer human resource policies and procedures.
- Respond to employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and counsel management on corrective action procedure.
- Manage employee off-boarding and exit interviews.
- Remain current on evolving regulations and compliance to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
- Ability to flex schedule to support employee relations or other business needs as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and/or Education Required:
- BS or BA in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
- Professional certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-SCP) desired.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in human resources with increasing experience.[JW1]
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including total rewards, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Ability to handle stressful situations, manage multiple deadlines, objectively evaluate information gathered and exhibit solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- High level of discernment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of management, employees, and outside professionals.
- Bilingual
- Experience using MS Office Suite.
