Residential Care Facilities Manager oversees facility services at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, including building and grounds maintenance, laundry and housekeeping. Supervises and trains staff, and plans work schedules and assignments. Being a Residential Care Facilities Manager performs regular inspections to ensure that appearance and cleanliness standards are maintained, and that equipment is functioning properly. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Residential Care Facilities Manager typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Residential Care Facilities Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Residential Care Facilities Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. - Manage and assist in the oversight of unit turnovers and construction projects.
- Assist tenants, prospective tenants, and the building owners in space planning and estimating costs while maintaining established building standards.
- Regularly inspect properties to ensure property maintenance and cleanliness.
REQUIREMENTS:- Minimum of 2-3 years of property management experience in residential properties is required for 189 units.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills, as well as exceptional organizational and follow through skills.
- Ability to work with little direction, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Appfolio Software is preferred.
- The individual needs to be professional, organized, reliable, self-motivated, courteous, patient and compassionate.
