The Alternative to Meds Center is a licensed holistic residential, behavioral health, and substance abuse treatment facility in Sedona, Arizona. We specialize in helping patients taper off of and find alternatives to medications. Our program is both holistic and integrative. We assess and treat each part of the individual and utilize the best available treatment that will be the most effective. Through the use of an environmental toxin removal program, orthomolecular supplementation, and naturopathic treatments, residents work to restore balance to their brain chemistry, thereby reducing symptoms and reducing the need for medications and other substances.
Our residents travel to us from all over the world to participate in our immersive residential program. We are a small organization of around 50 team members delivering care for up to 17 residents at a time. We are currently seeking a Weekend Program Director to join our team.

General overview of responsibilities:
- Training new Care Providers in fulfilling the needs of the program/facility on weekends
- Answering all questions from Care Provider on how to complete their responsibilities
- Deescalating crisis situations with patients by coordinating with clinical team and documenting response
- Create a fun and safe schedule of weekend events and securing resources to carry them out
- Promote a culture of openness and availability for residents
- Coordinate communication between departments to improve efficiency of overall applications
- Attend team meetings as needed throughout the week (likely 0-3 meetings per week, depending upon the week and your involvement in resident treatment, which will be determined by your work experience, education and level of interest)
- Promote and nurture a positive group culture within the resident population
- Cultivate an inclusive work ethic
- Evening medication supplement and medication administration and documentation (using our EMR)
- Attend both outings on Saturday and Sunday
- Take part in all chores - doing dishes, taking out garbage, etc.
- Make sure the evening handoff for overnight staff is completed prior to leaving property
- Perform a daily handoff at 1:00PM with Nursing to go over residential concerns and to assign tasks for the CP staff
- Coordinating staff coverage during your reign (Fri 8AM - Sun 10PM)
- Provide our designated shopper with lists and credit cards to obtain a weeks worth of groceries for residents.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST have or be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card upon hire (paid for by ATMC)
- MUST have and maintain a clean driving record/valid driver's license (for transporting residents)
- MUST have/obtain CPR/First Aid Certification upon hire (paid for by ATMC)
- MUST pass drug test, physical and TB test (done on-site upon hire)
This is a full-time position (36-40 hours/week), schedule is Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9a-9p (12 hour shifts). Tthe starting rate of pay ranges between $18 - $22/hour depending on relevant experience, education and training. For those with therapy related education and licensure, starting compensation range increases up to $25/hour.

Options available for dental, vision, and life insurance after 90 days of employment. We offer PTO on an accrue as you go basis. You can accrue and use up to 60 hours of PTO in your first year at ATMC.
