Primary Responsibilities:
Record Management of Client Care:
Oversight of Nursing Services Department:
Development, Maintenance, and Enforcement of Policies and Procedures:
Reporting and Recommendation Provision to the Administrator:
Effective Communication of Client Care Needs to Management:
Participation in Committees:
Assessment of Staffing Needs and Recruitment:
Assess staffing requirements and actively participate in the recruitment of nursing personnel.
Manage hiring and training of new clinical employees, including CNAs, homemakers, and Nurses.
Scheduling and Task Assignments:
Client Assessments and Care Plans:
Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate with board members to develop, implement, and update agency policies and procedures to stay compliant with all federal, state, and local laws.
Quality Assurance:
Additional Responsibilities:
Act as the facility administrator, possessing training and experience in health service administration.
Have at least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in the home care provider industry offering Personal Care Aide services.
Be a registered nurse who meets qualifications as set forth in 42 CFR Part 484.
Education, Qualifications, and Credentials:
Must hold or qualify for a Rhode Island Registered Nurse license.
Minimum three years of nursing administration or similar managerial experience in long-term care
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills required.
Proficient in policies, budgeting, personnel management, and census development.
Language Proficiency: While not a strict requirement, multilingual capabilities, such as proficiency in Spanish and English, are valued.
Must possess previous experience working for a home care agency that provides Personal Care Aide services.
