Residential Living Assistant is responsible for assisting residents with daily activities in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or similar facility. Assists with administering medications, documenting care provided, and communicating with healthcare professionals. Being a Residential Living Assistant may assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis. May accompany residents on shopping trips, medical appointments, and other outings. Additionally, Residential Living Assistant requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Residential Living Assistant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. The Residential Manager is responsible for administrative, home and client tasks within First State
Residential Living in support of the home and its clients as assigned by the Regional Home
Manager.
Administrative :
o Ensure day-to-day documentation is uploaded
o Daily audit of ISP notes for completion, quality of data and to ensure we maintain
compliance
o Ensure all documentation is uploaded for appointments
o Verify medication changes are implemented
o Verify menses and seizure documentation are entered in Therap
o Oversee daily spending of the Personal Spending Record (PSR), update/reconcile
the electronic record and complete the weekly/monthly Personal Spending Record
