Job Overview:
As an Aquatics Supervisors you'll be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a group of seasonal lifeguards under direction from the community manager and board of directors.
Your Responsibilities:
- Coordinate scheduling of aquatic staff to ensure all swimming pools are open and operating during scheduled hours.
- Capable of enforcing all pool rules and regulations in a polite and professional manner.
- Ensure the safety of residents and guests utilizing the pool area.
- Oversee administration and execution of day-to-day maintenance to the swimming pools and surrounding facilities.
- Daily inspection of the swimming pools and surrounding facilities and reporting any definite or prospective hazards to the Community Outreach Coordinator or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Use good judgment when determining lane usage.
- Ensure bathers are showering prior to entering pool.
- Attend pool monitor meetings.
- Set up pool manager's station at specified location (make sure following are available at station: first aid kit, pool manager's station sign, pool permit guest book, pool permit box, writing implements, copy of pool rules, copy of resident directory )
- Perform tests for free chlorine and pH in indoor pool, spa and outdoor pool
- Monitor filtration system
- Develop and conduct weekly staff trainings.
- Daily communication with all levels of staff.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned by management
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School diploma.
- CPR Certification is required
- Experience and training in customer service is highly desirable.
- Experience in an aquatic setting desirable.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, and advanced communication skills a plus.
- Must present a professional image. Must be outgoing and able to work with all types of people. Must be energetic.
- Basic pool knowledge preferred.
- Prior lifeguard, pool management or customer service experience
- Accountable for one's own work, decisions and safety of oneself and others

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
