Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Supervisor to oversee the care and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Residential Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, managing staff, and coordinating services to meet the unique needs of each resident.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision and support to residential staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and individualized goals
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Coordinate and monitor medication administration, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure optimal care for residents
- Assist in case management activities, including coordinating appointments and services
- Provide hands-on patient care as needed, including assistance with activities of daily living
- Implement and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for residents
- Monitor and document resident progress, behavior changes, and any incidents or concerns
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices
- Ability to lift and assist with transferring residents as needed
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of resident information
- Experience in medication administration and adherence to medication protocols
- Case management skills, including coordinating services and appointments for residents
- Ability to develop individualized care plans based on resident needs
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
