Residential Supervisor

• Annual Salary-$45,760 - $49,920

Responsibilities and duties for SMHFC Residential Supervisor:

• Schedule for the Supervisor position: Tu, F-Sa 3-11p, W-Th 7a-3p (40hr)
• The Supervisor must possess the ability to build a knowledgeable and cohesive team environment within the milieu. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with parents, youth, providers, and staff. Ability to develop and follow a treatment plan.
• The Residential Supervisor shall be responsible for the safe and therapeutic management of residents through supervision of the Assistant Supervisor and Residential Counselors/Family Liaisons to assure proper residential treatment, family involvement and to provide guidance and management in all areas of residential programming.
• Providing guidance in home coaching, skills building, case management, family support, parent education, community outings, assessment and amelioration of barriers, and safety and risk management.
• The Milieu /Residential Unit Supervisor will also provide documentation and communication between families, youth, providers, and residential program.
• The Milieu/Residential Supervisor must be actively involved in creating an atmosphere of communication and teamwork by modeling and encouraging optimism, cooperation and professionalism.
• Oversee recruitment, selection, weekly supervision, evaluation, recognition and discipline of assigned staff.
• Must maintain certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and CPR.

Qualifications for Residential Supervisor: Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years residential treatment. BA Degree in Social Services preferred. Supervisory experience in residential or similar environment is required. Candidate must possess excellent computer, documentation/writing skills.
