Where do you fit?

To be a successful Independent Living Supervisor you must become able to do the following always:  

1. Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery. 
2. Communicate and coordinate with Department of Children and Families (DCF) IL regional staff and DCF IL administration staff. 
3. Lead in partnering with community providers to discuss gaps, needs, and improvement opportunities. Coordinate and advocate for State, local, and public systems affecting youth.? 
4. Collaborate with the Permanency Services Department regarding ongoing IL and resource issues. 
5. Provide direct supervision and support of supervisees utilizing the Company model for supervision, Supervision for Success.  
6. Create and monitor budget for department financial success.  
7. Ensure required youth contacts are occurring and documentation follows IL policies and procedures.? 
8. Partner with the Data Services Department on the Electronic Health Record (EHR) processes and workflows. 
9. Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines. 
10. Participate in supervisory on-call rotation.
