The Residential Sales Representative will meet with new and existing customers to develop equipment solutions to meet customer needs, promote products and services while increasing brand awareness, create referrals, and generate sales to achieve department and capacity goals.

Qualifications

A typical day in the life of a Central Carolina HVAC Sales Representative includes:

• Performing quality preventative maintenance services on all HVAC systems, including oil systems, with limited call backs
• Properly diagnosing HVAC systems to include furnace, air conditioners, heat pumps, zone systems, and oil furnaces
• Performing advanced electrical troubleshooting
• Completing major refrigeration repairs including coils, compressors, thermal expansion valves, etc.
• Replacing reversing valves and heat exchangers
• Identifying air flow issues and offering solutions to customers
• Servicing and repairing ductless mini split systems
• Performing boiler maintenance and repairs (preferred)
• Diagnosing duct system issues and designing solutions (preferred)
• Diagnosing zone system issues and replacing zone components (preferred)
• Performing call duty as assigned
• Supporting company goals by offering customers additional Central Carolina products and services and setting leads for HVAC equipment replacement
• Professionally communicating with team members, customers, and vendors
• Completing paperwork for each service including service software documentation

Job Requirements:

To be successful as a Central Carolina HVAC Sales Representative you must

• Have a current driver’s license in good standing
• Be able to serve customers with a positive attitude and enthusiasm
• Able to meet monthly revenue goal at least four times per year (Six times per year preferred)
• Communicate well and be able to work in a team environment
• Pride yourself on being professional and drug free
• Able to serve customers throughout the Triad (In and surrounding Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem areas.)

Skills and Experience:

A Central Carolina HVAC Sales Representative will have

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
• Applied knowledge of HVAC systems
• Proven track record in sales; two years’ HVAC sales experience preferred
• Financial acumen including the ability to determine if a job is profitable and what operational activities affect positive or negative results
• IT competent, previous experience with Microsoft Office and applicable applications
• Highly organized with exceptional time-management and follow-through abilities
• Attention to detail; perceptual speed; information ordering
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Good presentation and public speaking skills
• Familiar with local codes and can speak to company product lines
• Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
• Highly motivated, flexible, and great attitude on life
• Team player and commitment to company values
