Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Resort Manager” for the All-New J Resort. The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Observes slot department employees during the performance of their duties to ensure a high level of competency, and performance
Inform General Manager and department management of all property activities and personnel issues daily through various modes of communication
• -(shift logs, e-mail, voicemail)
• Performance management of slot floor employees including performance reviews, counseling’s, and merit increases
• Perform all functions of Key Watcher administrators.
• Assist in essential floor activities such as fills, jackpots and coin jams to ensure premium levels of customer service
• Sign all Title 31 related documents
• Sign overrides, damaged TITO tickets to be paid at the main cage and all related documents such as TITO problem log etc.
• Actively monitor all casino operations for proper customer service and employee activity
• Monitor property interior and exterior for cleanliness, and safety concerns that affect our guests and employees
• Monitor, instruct, and enforce all slot department and casino employees regarding the observance of the ICMP, and Gaming Regulations
• Partners with Slot Director to review, recommend, and advises senior management regarding the acquisition of slot related products and equipment and services
• Provide and promote premium levels of customer service by providing direction and answers concerning any of the slot team issues

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• Must be literate and fluent in English
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
• Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board Required
• Performs additional assignments and duties not covered to ensure the continuation of casino operations
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
