    The Unconditional Child Care Program at Pinebrook Family Answers is immensely proud of its unique one-of-a-kind services available only in the Lehigh Valley and in existence for almost 30 years. This program uses a wrap-around, strengths based, inclusive and universally designed approach to help children succeed in the early childcare setting when they may be having behavioral difficulties.

    Using a wrap-around model, the Resource Coordinator helps to develop a team made up of family and professionals to create a strategy and plan for success in the early childhood classroom. At Unconditional Child Care and Pinebrook Family Answers, you are not a person doing a job- you are a valued team member facilitating change and making a difference. In the role of Resource Coordinator, you will spend your days helping early childcare teachers and administrators build skills and vital knowledge to help children succeed in the classroom. You will provide resources, strategies, and ideas to families to help their children succeed at home and in life. You will make a difference in the life of a child and in the community.

    You will be working for Pinebrook Family Answers- a large nonprofit leader in providing behavioral health services throughout Northeast PA. Pinebrook has three locations in the Lehigh Valley and over 20 different programs serving young children through older adults. Pinebrook has been named one of the Lehigh Valley’s Best Places to work and is one of the only certified Trauma Informed Social Service Agencies in the area.     WHAT You’ll Do as a Resource Coordinator:

    • Schedule and facilitate all team meetings for purpose of creating comprehensive wraparound plans.
    • Opportunity for creativity in strategizing as well as locating and building resources for each individual team.
    • Maintain all client records including written summaries of all meetings that are conducted on the part of families. Ensure that families are provided with copies of all relevant materials and resources.
    • Build strong relationships with team members, including co-workers, family, youth, and other individuals, agencies or services in the community or any other domain. Ensure that each team member, co-worker, agency staff or others, have necessary information. Maintains respectful and collaborative relationships.
    • Participate in community outreach and marketing efforts to further expand the awareness of all stakeholders and community members as to the function and availability of the Unconditional Child Care program.
    • Participate in, develop, and implement trainings for parents and childcare staff.
    • Attend weekly Supervision with program manager to keep them informed of client and program activities/developments and brings information/situations of concern to the attention of the manager for discussion.

    • A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or a related human services field, or an associate degree and a minimum of two full-time years’ experience working in relevant early childhood, children/youth and families, or community service capacity.
    • Demonstrate effective communication/interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of child development, family dynamics and experience providing family support services.
    • Maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance, excellent driving record, and reliable transportation.
    • Ability to work flexible hours including early evenings and occasional weekends.
