Responsibilities of a Human Resource/Staffing Coordinator:

• Manage the full cycle of recruitment, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process for all staff members.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, training records, and certifications.
• Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Handle employee relations matters, address concerns, and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Coordinate staff scheduling to ensure proper coverage and manage time-off requests.
• Administer benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
• Conduct regular training sessions on HR-related topics, including diversity and inclusion, workplace safety, and compliance.
• Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations and update policies accordingly.

Qualifications of a Human Resource/Staffing Coordinator:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in human resources and staffing coordination, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.
• Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
