POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the service delivery of the GoodwillC:\Users\bfavor\Documents\Trademark.png Career Center program. Provides and continues supportive services for the Career Center Specialist and clients in need of services.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
· A college degree in a human services, social work or related field is preferred.
· Some Human Resources experience is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIFIC SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:
· Valid Texas Drivers License and good driving record
· Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information.
· Ability to travel as needed.
· Exercise sound judgment and follow-through on assignments independently and as a team player.
· Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
· Strong resume writing skills
· Strong organizational and problem solving skills
· Demonstrate ability to motivate, train, and effectively relate to individuals who have disabilities or other barriers to employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

· Provides support for Career Center Specialist. (E)
· Assists and/or provides intake, assessment & training skills development for Career Center clients and participants. (E)
· Assists with building partnerships with local agencies and organizations. (E)
· Helps maintain relationships and is knowledgeable of programs and opportunities with local employers to assist program participants in securing and maintaining employment
· Develop an Individualized Employment Plan (IEP) for each client, including goals and objectives to achieve gainful employment. (E)
· Assign tasks, offer resources, and connects clients to other organizations in accordance with client’s IEP recommendations. (E)
· Document all tasks and services completed with client in agency’s online database. (E)
· Maintain site data for reporting program numbers. (E)
· Serves as a community advocate for Goodwill in the Permian Basin (E)
· Effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
· Promotes professionalism inside and outside of the organization.
· Communicate professionally and positively with co-workers and others.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
