As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, at Grandview Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. About the Job:

Manages the Respiratory Care Department, as well as the Neuroscience Department, and Sleep Center. Develops and administers policies and procedures relating to each area's function and personnel. Functions as a clinical expert and educator in all respiratory care modalities. Serves as physician liaison and works toward collaborative relationships with medical staff, administrative staff and other members of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a respiratory therapy program accredited by CoARC under CAAHEP or successor organization with an AAS degree or higher and a BS in Healthcare
• Active Status as a Registered Respiratory Therapist through the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Current license by the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy
• Maintains current training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), & Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP). BLS is required within 7 days of hire. ACLS/PALS/NRP is required within 30 days of hire.

Experience:

• Minimum of three years supervisory experience in healthcare preferred
