Overview
We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in kitchen and restaurant management.
Duties
- Oversee all kitchen operations and staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Develop and maintain menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences
- Manage inventory levels and control food costs
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to plan catering events and special menus
- Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu planning
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and menu planning
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Certification in food safety and sanitation practices is preferred
- Experience in bartending, banquet services, or catering is a plus
