    Seeking a seasoned Executive Chef to lead with restaurant with multi-faceted experience to lead the Re-Opening of J.Morgans Restaurant a very popular location for over 25 years located in the heart of the Capitol of Vermont, Montpellier. This restaurant will be re-opening in Late March tentatively so hiring training, menu re-development, training of kitchen and waitstaff are all essential. Kitchen set up-(almost all new equipment and design) Processes and procedures. Jamsan Hotel Management currently owns and operates 4 Hotels in Vermont including, the Delta Hotel Burlington, restoration of the 4 diamond Stoweflake Resort in Stowe and a Marriott Property in Williston-all within 1/2 hour of each other. Jamsan currently owns and operates all major brands across New England and continues to grow ar a fast pace so opportunities for growth are real.

    The role of the Executive Chef

    • Provide leadership and management for the Kitchen Department
    • Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees in the Kitchen Department
    • Effectively plan and develop menus for the hotel and restaurant considering factors such as product Restaurant theme-Steak House, availability, food and service cost,
