Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. You will play a crucial role in managing staff, developing care plans, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Duties:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate resident care and services
- Create and update care plans based on individual resident needs
- Monitor medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed protocols
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in delivering compassionate and person-centered care
- Stay up-to-date with medical advancements, best practices, and industry trends
- Oversee infection control measures to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance regulations
- Uphold resident rights and promote a culture of respect, dignity, and autonomy

Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare practices
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes
- Experience in home care, nursing homes, or hospice care settings is preferred
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans based on individual resident needs
- Attention to detail in reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance

Pay: $90,880.80 - $95,179.02 per year
