Resteel Ironworker jobs in Alabama
Resteel Ironworker installs reinforcing steel bars, cables, or wire in order to support concrete structures. May cut, bend, and/or weld steel construction materials. Being a Resteel Ironworker ensures proper placement and alignment according to blueprints and instructions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Resteel Ironworker may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Resteel Ironworker may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Trillium Construction is now hiring for ironworker’s in the Courtland, AL area!
Work will be located at the Lockheed Martin Aerospace facility. Candidates will be working on a PEMB, hanging iron, running panels, laying metal roof decking.
If you have welding experience and a AWSD1.1 certification, that is a plus!
Current schedule is 40-45 hrs weekly. Current pay is $32 / hr $78 / days worked in per diem.
