Mitigation Technician

AnyWeather Restoration currently seeks a motivated Mitigation Technician with water remediation & restoration experience. We prefer someone with IICRC certification.

Primary Job Function:

To provide labor and support to crew chiefs and/or project managers

Reports to:

Crew Chief, Lead Technician, and/or Production Manager

Work Hours:

8:00am – 4:30pm; alternating on call schedule to cover 24/7 emergency service; some weekends and evenings

Required Qualifications:

• Insurable by company insurance carrier
• Valid drivers license
• Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes.
• Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in restoration if needed
• Follow directions from supervisor and/or dispatcher and carry out in a timely manner
• Basic Safety knowledge of tools and surroundings.
• Work from a 12’ ladder
• Demonstrates willingness to work in an “on-call environment, being prepared to respond to emergency calls after and during normal business hours
• Demonstrate customer service skill and have ability to communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to residential and commercial customers and co-workers
• Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles

Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly Duties:

• Arrive at jobsite or shop at scheduled time and location as dispatched
• Relocate from one job site to another job site as dispatched during the workday
• Operate company vehicles as needed
• Report problems with company tools or vehicle promptly
• Complete all service-related forms properly
• On call status for emergency service as required
• Communicate with customers as needed
• Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to work a staggered schedule
• Inform and educate customers on additional products or services available through company
• Other duties as assigned

Performance Indicators:

• Responds to all emergency service calls within time frame established
• Reports to shop, on-time, every time
• Stays productive when on the clock
• Performs tasks completely on a regular basis
• Displays willingness to learn our trades, understanding that this technical knowledge along with a desire to grow, is what can lead to advancement within the organization
• Must be able to consistently communicate with all necessary parties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Water damage restoration: 1 year (Preferred)
• Fire restoration: 1 year (Preferred)
