Senior Product Manager - Embedded Banking

We're looking for a candidate who's passionate about financial products and technology, including innovation of new features and functionalities. You'll be joining the Bank Accounts team within our Platforms and Financial Services solution. The team is responsible for some of the financial products we offer to our customers. Whether we work with large partner platforms, medium sized local merchants, or major international enterprise businesses, our products need to meet our clients expectations and seamlessly fit into their systems.

As Senior Product Manager Embedded Banking, you will be responsible for making our embedded bank accounts offering to large commerce platforms a success. After obtaining an European banking license in 2017, Adyen built its own bank. Adyen Bank is one of the core components to process payments and we are extending our services to our large commerce platforms with bank accounts. 

You will be responsible to drive future development from its conception, to the launch, and all the way to a fully functioning product with happy customers all around the globe. You will work closely together with the commercial teams and customers to explain our offering, and translate their feedback into product enhancements together with our development teams.

What you’ll do

• You will be challenged to rollout and optimize embedded banking services for the biggest customer brands in the world;
• You will take responsibility for the management of our banking product end-to-end: subject matter expert;
• You will interact with customers on a regular basis and translate their needs into product requirements and drive solutioning, prioritization and roadmapping; 
• You will scope and deliver the technical projects to build financial products that fit the needs of our customer at global scale;
• You will work closely together with your engineers and with multiple teams within Adyen, as well as external partners to ensure the best offering for our customers.

What you will need to succeed

• You have 5-7 years of experience with embedded banking products within a fintech- or financial services environment domain, and you have experience in scaling a treasury product. 
• Experience in product management for embedded banking products in various jurisdictions is a plus.
• You understand Treasury Products like Banking as a Service, Bank transfers (SEPA, RT1 etc), Confirmation of Payee, Bank Statements (CAMT, MT940, etc).
• You are generally familiar with the latest trends in the Banking as a Services space, not restricted to just banking offerings;
• You have have launched and scaled products in the Banking as a Service space with quantifiable value;
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are able to form a vision and work with the engineering teams to implement that;
• You are hands-on, have strong project management skills in which you take full ownership and control over your projects, and have the ability to manage priorities to get projects done in time.
• Know how to manage a project portfolio and you are able to create, manage, motivate, and hold accountable cross-functional teams required to develop and launch the product;
• You have solid interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with both internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures;
• You have identified novel and significant revenue opportunities, and have convinced senior executives to invest in your product strategy;
• Your strong sense of initiative and self-motivation will add value to a fast-growing business.
