Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Branch Manager to lead our retail banking operations at Gulf Coast Bank’s Main Office in Abbeville, LA. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong background in retail banking, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As the Retail Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, managing a staff of tellers and two universal bankers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of retail banking professionals to achieve performance goals and deliver excellent customer service.

Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
Operational Oversight:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail branch, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and security protocols.

Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risk and maintain compliance.

Implement strategies to optimize branch efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Sales and Business Development:

Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet established targets for deposit accounts, loans, and other banking products and services.

Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to maximize customer relationships and promote customer loyalty.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking opportunities to expand the customer base within the local community.
Customer Service Excellence:

Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving customer inquiries, and addressing any service issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
Financial Management:

Monitor branch performance against budgetary goals and financial targets, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Manage operating expenses, revenue generation, and profitability while ensuring cost-effective operations and prudent risk management practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (preferred).

Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail banking, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business results in a retail banking environment.

Strong understanding of banking products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, and electronic banking platforms.
