About Our Client:

Our client, an international jewelry retailer specializing in sourcing, designing, wholesaling, and retailing a variety of gold, platinum, and gem-set jewelry products, is looking to hire a Branch Manager, who can run operations at their latest retail location. The successful candidate must be fluent in Mandarin and English, have retail jewelry experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Branch/ Store Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing both front and back of house operations.
• Ensuring compliance with commercial practices within the store.
• Training, coaching, and developing the team to achieve monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Driving sales through effective merchandising and promotional activities.
• Building strong customer relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and complaint resolution.
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards in the store.
• Planning and managing staffing, labor costs, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Collaborating closely with the District/Country Manager, other Branch Managers, and Sales Managers on sales, training, and recruitment.
• Providing feedback to staff regarding performance and expectations.
• Preparing necessary sales and retail-related reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the jewelry/luxury goods retail industry, preferably in a managerial/supervisory capacity
• Must have Jewelry sales experience
• Strong knowledge of jewelry, including gold, silver, and gemstones.
• Advanced communication and written skills in both English and Chinese.
• Fluent in spoken Mandarin; Cantonese proficiency would be an asset.
• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking skills, and ability to multitask.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with a trustworthy and honest personality.
• Ability to coach and motivate a sales team to achieve sales targets with a high sense of ownership.
• Proficiency in working with POS systems, Microsoft applications, and portable devices.
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis, including some weekends.
• Ability to maintain visual merchandising standards in the store.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The client is offering the following compensation and benefits package:

• Hourly pay between $35-40/ hr - 40 hour work week, plus sales incentives with commission and a discretionary bonus.
• OTE/ Total compensation between $80,000 - $100,000 USD (including commission depending on store performance)
