Evaluates processes and procedures to identify internal control weaknesses that could result in loss. Being a Retail Loss Prevention Auditor reviews patterns and trends related to product loss. Coordinates with law enforcement to conduct investigations of theft or fraud. Additionally, Retail Loss Prevention Auditor investigates employee policy violations. May require a bachelor's degree. UNIFORMED LOSS PREVENTION AGENTS – Experience preferred, but not necessary – WE WILL TRAIN individuals who have the desire and motivation to be a successful loss prevention officer.
Primary Responsibilities:
Detection, apprehension and deterrence of potential Customer/Associate theft activity, using in-store surveillance equipment and by walking the floor, that would otherwise result in a loss to company assets
Assist in promoting, monitoring and implementing compliance policies and procedures related to theft prevention, safety, and inventory control
Complete all incident/investigation reports and any required paperwork related to theft
Must have the ability to attend all court hearings (compensated for time)
Minimum Qualifications:
Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Must possess a Private Security License or the ability to obtain one before starting (with our assistance)
Must work well under pressure and exercise good judgement
Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work well both independently and as a team
Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work weekends and flexible hours, including Holidays
Basic working knowledge or retail policies and procedures is preferred
Willingness to rotate within a group of locations
Must be hardworking, self-motivated and punctual
Eligible to work in the U.S.
