Being a Retail Loss Prevention Auditor recommends procedures and programs to remediate internal control weaknesses and mitigate losses. Coordinates with law enforcement to conduct investigations of theft or fraud. Additionally, Retail Loss Prevention Auditor investigates employee policy violations. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Retail Loss Prevention Auditor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
