Being a Retail Loss Prevention Representative observes areas that are vulnerable to theft and identifies occurrences. Ensures employees understand and follow policies and procedures for loss prevention and cash handling. Additionally, Retail Loss Prevention Representative collects, records, and maintains loss and incident data in appropriate format and system. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Retail Loss Prevention Representative works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. What you'll do:
- Establish and maintain customer focus; provide strong customer focus to increase sales and decrease exposure to loss, assist with difficult customer situations, and contact/interact with local authorities
- Drive results; utilize in-store physical resources and document all known theft/attempted theft situations
- Develop teams; adjust performing assignments and support, train, and coach others
- Have fun creating memorable shopping experiences for all of our customers

What you'll need:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team, and supervisor
- Minimum of 1 year of Asset Protection experience
- Ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees
- Availability to meet the needs of the business that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled. Minimum number of hours is not guaranteed
