Retail Pricing Analyst jobs in Columbus, OH

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of the system cost, sell, data maps, and rebates. The Pricing Analyst provides analysis, reporting, and expertise to the sales and marketing teams on pricing strategies to increase company profitability. They lead the development and implementation of competitive pricing strategies and identifies opportunities for prices optimization through advance data analytics. This will require close coordination and communication with other departments to maximize effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Creates forecasts and models to show the impact of various pricing strategies to revenue and profit
• Leads pricing and analysis related to the RFP/large opportunity process working with various departments to compile data, track progress, and ensure responses are accurate and timely.
• Utilizes internal and external data to analyze market trends, competitor price points, and historical data to provide insights for the business and facilitate pricing reviews.
• Calculate contract related fees and incentives.
• Perform ad-hoc pricing analysis as needed.
• Assist with maintenance of pricing tables .
• Proactively gathers market data for pricing new products.
• Review market trends for pricing opportunities to optimize revenues.
• Monitors cost and raw material fluctuations.
• Analyzes price relationships between products.
• Partners with product management team to create profitable pricing strategies.
• Creatively explores and recommends new revenue drivers.
• Collaborates with Vendors, Sales, and Purchasing to ensure our system costs are accurate.
• Maintains system pricing matrix.
• Responsible for vendor rebate programs including loading them into our system, submitting vendor reports and validating credits.
• Analyzes, reviews, and updates vendor data maps – translating several templates into current ERP.
• Initiates strategic pricing plans in partnership with Pricing Manager.

Skills/Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED required; Associates or higher with studies concentrated on business, operations, accounting, statistics, or mathematics preferred.
• 2 years of combined pricing and sourcing experience, with electrical wholesale warehouse experience preferred.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
