The Art Director, Design & Motion, is a creative problem solver that can execute complex, multi-disciplinary design projects with autonomy. This role will serve as the Fighting Irish Media design team motion graphics specialist; leading the visual direction of our motion design through innovative work that pushes boundaries and elevates the overall team. This includes art directing internal designers as well as outside vendors. Advanced knowledge of motion graphics required.

Beyond motion design, this person is a versatile creative thinker, equally comfortable executing a motion graphics package, a print campaign, or still design templates. A team-player, the Art Director, Design & Motion, collaborates closely with other designers as well as Athletics Communications Directors to execute anything from large-scale campaigns to one-off social graphics. This role requires great communication skills, organization, flexibility and willingness to adapt.

There is a preferred candidate for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• Advanced knowledge of motion graphics design and Adobe After Effects
• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the field of sports design
