Retail Store Planning and Construction Director jobs in Austin, TX
Retail Store Planning and Construction Director is responsible for ensuring the layout/design of a retail store meets prescribed requirements. Monitors store modifications and changes to ensure budget adherence. Being a Retail Store Planning and Construction Director directs plans for equipment installation in order to meet store requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Retail Store Planning and Construction Director typically reports to a top management. The Retail Store Planning and Construction Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Retail Store Planning and Construction Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Reports to: Store Manager
Minimum 1 year retail Store Management experience preferred
Qualification
Minimum of 18 years of age
Requirements
Basic computer skills
Ability to speak, understand, read and write English
Standing, walking, bending, squatting and/or twisting
Simple grasping, pushing, lifting and/or carrying items of 3-15 pounds
Physical Demands Reaching above or below shoulder level
Climbing ladders 6-12 feet
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
