Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently manage spare part inventory levels.
- Conduct daily cycle counts of parts.
- Ensure established inventory levels are maintained.
- Ensure the spare part inventory is relevant to equipment.
- Enter receipts of purchase orders and coordinates with Accounts Payable as necessary.
- Proactively communicate with management.
- Manage lead times on spare parts to ensure delivery prior to parts being needed in plant.
- Ability to put pressure on suppliers to expedite shipments when timelines get shortened.
- Organize spare parts so they can be easily found by all who need them.
- Good working knowledge of equipment components.
- Use a caliper and spec out components.
- Maintain and adhere to monthly budget.
- Itemize and categorize transactions in general ledger categories.
- Assist with outdoor maintenance such as snow removal and salting.
- Unload deliveries with forklift.
- Perform annual cycle counting of inventory.
- Track meantime between failure of components.
- High involvement with contractors and vendors. Ensure parties are GMP trained and adhere to all GMP and PPE requirements.
- Maintain good working relationships with vendors.
- Source and set up new vendors.
- Source supplies from non-vendors when necessary
- Occasional delivery of parts to other locations as needed.
- Perform small maintenance tasks in the shop as needed.
- Arrange times with contractors to have work completed.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout shop.

Qualifications
Education Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Required
- No experience required; in-house training provided.
- Administrative experience preferred.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and CMMS preferred.
Certification/Licensure Required
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be required.
