Returns Supervisor supervises the receipt of goods for return and coordinates return of goods to vendors. Handles defective, discontinued or recalled goods and destroys returned goods as appropriate. Being a Returns Supervisor ensures the returns process follows appropriate procedures and maintains documents as necessary. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Returns Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Returns Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process returns by determining the reason for the return. Clean and re-package sellable product
to return to stock. Substitute item returns. Process special order and dispenser program returns.
Create sticker sheets to keep track of product returns. Process and sort paperwork from drivers and
forward to appropriate departments. Assist in other tasks as needed.HOURS: 10:00a.m.- 6:30p.m. Monday - Friday
REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma required.
• Ablility to think critically and solve problems.
• Physical strength necessary to lift 60 lbs or more continuously.
• Ability to work under stress and adapt to changing conditions.
