Revenue Accountant jobs in Santa Fe, NM

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Build a strong relationship with other accounting team members and internal partners throughout the resort
• Entering daily revenue into the general ledger
• Establishing internal audit procedures
• Manage the credit card chargeback process; in addition to reconciling credit card payments in-transit
• Reconcile deferred revenue accounts and ensure accuracy of all revenue postings
• Manage seasonal Revenue Audit Clerk when applicable
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters related to auditing and other accounting functions
• Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Knowledge:

• Bachelors of Science in Accountancy (preferred)
• Bachelors degree in other areas of business or Associates in Accountancy (preferred)
• Experience in the ski industry (preferred)
• Experience in an accounting environment (preferred)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.'

Work Environment:

Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment.  Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.

Physical Demands of Position Include:

• Requires ability to work on a computer for extended periods ( 8 hours per day)
• Ability to lift boxes for filing purposes (up to 50 lbs.)
• 90% of time spent sitting
