Revenue Accounting Director jobs in Hartford, CT

An award-winning acute care hospital located in central Connecticut is now searching for an experienced Revenue Cycle Director to join their award-winning healthcare organization. 

This community-based acute care hospital is home to over 150 inpatient beds and provides a wide variety of inpatient, outpatient, primary care, and skilled nursing services. This network services more than 20 locations and supports a growing team of 100 experienced providers throughout the central Connecticut regions. The organization combines a dedicated team of healthcare providers that strive to enhance the overall health of all patients and community residents. 

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Revenue Cycle Director will oversee the registration, charge capture, billing, collections, cash posting, and customer service operations for the entire organization. The Revenue Cycle Director works to maximize reimbursement, streamlines processes that impact the integrity of patient billing, works collaboratively with department leaders, and works closely with the Managed Care Director to ensure payer compliance with negotiated contracts.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
• Progressive leadership experience in healthcare setting
• Expert knowledge of UB-04 billing requirements and state/federal regulations
