InvestCloud is seeking a Revenue Manager with deep knowledge of ASC 606 to join its Finance team who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high growth environment and can provide technical guidance and support for revenue recognition decisions for a SaaS technology company.

The Revenue Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of revenue figures based on internal and external requirements. How you will provide meaningful contributions: 

• Research, apply and enforce revenue guidance in accordance with ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers. 
• Design, implement and enforce internal revenue accounting policies across a multinational corporation. 
• Prepare journal entries and maintain account reconciliations consistent with US GAAP and corporate accounting policies for both Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts. 
• Perform end-to-end revenue testing for NetSuite and billing implementation, while regularly working with internal and external business partners, both local and international. 
• Streamline month and quarter end close procedures including account reconciliations, flux analysis, calculation of standalone selling price for multi-element arrangements and contract reviews. 
• Implement and enforce SOX controls for newly acquired companies to prevent and detect significant deficiencies or material weaknesses. 
• Work with cross-functional teams, training members of the organization on revenue accounting policies and the adoption/implementation of such. 
• Participate in the quarterly and annual financial statement preparation process or other ad hoc reporting requirements. 
• Perform contract reviews for substantial agreements to determine proper accounting treatment and application. 

Basic Qualifications for Consideration: 

• 2-3 years of public accounting experience 
• 5-7 years of industry experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP, primarily surrounding revenue recognition and related balance sheet classifications. 
• Experience in the technology industry, both on-premise and cloud-based solutions. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment amongst cross-functional teams with a team player mindset. 
• Ability to research and conclude on accounting guidance while applying conclusions in the most operationally efficient manner. 
• Analytical skills, combined with business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with management. 
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 
• Strong analytical and excel skills with working knowledge of NetSuite (preferred) 
• Ability to manage complexity well and demonstrated experience managing across functions and businesses to accomplish large scale goals in a multinational, public company environment.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. Salary range:  $100,000 - $130,000
