Revenue Cycle Manager jobs in Atlanta, GA

Dermatology Center of Atlanta is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to manage our medical billing, collections, posting and payer communication. Dermatology experience preferred. To be successful, candidate must be professional, polite and a team player. This position requires a CPC certification or at least 3 years of billing experience outlined below.

Requirements:

• This is a full-time, in-office position.
• Superior interpersonal and communications skills.
• Able to multitask.
• Attentive to details and accuracy.
• Knowledge of Medicare, PPO/POS/HMO plans.
• Advanced knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Must know how to read EOB's, post payments in practice management (Greenway/Intergy a plus) software and EMR (EMA a plus).
• Compliant with HIPAA and Security Standards.
• MUST complete all Indeed Assessments.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities:

• Review and submit claims as well as correct billing errors and resubmit corrected claim.
• Follow-up on unpaid claims and incorrect reimbursements.
• Use Availity and/or Clearwave for verification of benefits.
• Understand fee schedules, payment formulas and contracted rates.
• Send patient statements and make collection calls.
• Correspond with payers within timely filing limits.
• Track and report trends in payments and denials.
