Women's Health Connecticut is seeking to hire a full-time, Revenue Cycle Supervisor at the Corporate Business Office in Rocky Hill, CT.

Working Arrangement: Hybrid, two- three days in-office
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00a- 5:00p
Position Summary: The Revenue Cycle Supervisor will research and resolve claims/unpostables/correspondence, will identify trends, billing and collections concerns and/ or new product requirements. The Revenue Cycle Supervisor will also manage a team, including; coders, patient customer service call center representatives, and posting resolution specialists.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Serves as a representative of Women’s Health Connecticut, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of the Women’s Health Communities, and the public.
- Work with management to identify retraining needs of staff, provide training to staff and operate as a resource of information for questions.
- Train staff on daily functions
- Communicate all issues to Management
- Collaborate with other department leads/management to resolve outstanding issues
- Monitor staff productivity and adherence to metrics, policies and procedures
- Resolve patient complaints, including discussions with patients when necessary
- Participate in staff performance evaluations
- Review internal reports to determine errors causing denial of claims/correct/resubmit claims
- Respond in a timely manner by either telephone or written communication to all requests from divisions, insurance companies and other members of the Women’s Health Communities
- Utilizing follow up reports, contact appropriate insurance company in a timely manner to determine reason for missing remittance, refund request or retraction, and other claim related research.
- Proficiency in practice management system with ability to run and analyze reports
- Research updates and mailings for insurance company information regarding changes and or new processes
- Utilizing websites for verification of patient benefit eligibility and claim status
- Maintain issues log and drive resolutions
- Request necessary changes to insurance company guidelines/posting protocols
- Manage assigned daily worklists
- Follow internal protocols regarding departmental communications
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Facilitate and/or participate in department, management and company meetings
- Adhere to corporate compliance program guidelines and comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures within the Women’s Health Communities
- Maintain and respect the confidentiality of PHI (Protected Health Information) in accordance with insurance collection guidelines, corporate policy and all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) mandates. Candidate will have access to PHI based on the HIPAA minimum necessary standards
- Other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills & Qualification
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 years prior supervisory experience preferred
- Computer skills evidenced by proficiency and /or training with applicable software
- Ability to set priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft tools
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding
Physical demands:
- Ability to remain seated for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
