Our behavioral health organization is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee account receivables and collections. We are looking for a behavioral health billing expert, so applicants should have 4-7 years of experience in a medical billing office as well as a bachelor's degree. In this role, you will coordinate our billing and collection activities, maximizing payments and improving our processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate billing and collection activities
- Monitor accounts receivables activity
- Oversee monthly close processes, including reporting and account balancing
- Ensure accurate billing of insurance providers and patients
- Document medical billing denials from insurance providers
- Evaluate billing processes and procedures
- Train new staff members
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related healthcare field
- 4-7 years of experience in medical billing
- Supervisory experience a plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Computer, analytical, and organizational skills
