Rig Operator is responsible for operation of the rig, crew, and equipment and for ensuring customer satisfaction with all services rendered. Ensures that all crew are at the rig and ready to work at scheduled time. Being a Rig Operator maintains productivity standards for all rig functions. Maintains a safe working environment and ensures compliance of applicable regulations and policies. Additionally, Rig Operator may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Rig Operator supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Rig Operator typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Critical Responsibilities :
Ability to operate PLC screens
Ability to load boxes and change tape heads
Understand product flow and oiler operation
Change and clean sizing screens, clean optical sorter lenses and tray
Learn hand sort protocol
Awareness of flavor application and final validation protocol
Understand the cleaning process
Operate bailer
Understand re-work procedures
Ability to change out fuel tank
Perform in-process cleaning as required
Monitor and adjust percent of rework being added
Ensure metal detector operation and knowledge of the proper procedure for metal hits and the proper procedure for plastic holds
Reset tripped motors in MCC
Change oiler settings to lab specifications
Disassemble and assemble de-clumper
Adjust optical sorter belts for tracking and calibrate optical sorters
Adjust case erector, bag inserter, conveyors, un-cuffer, top taper and labeler for size changes
Replace labels and ribbon on printer, change message on bulk line printer
Perform all necessary functions with packaging documentation

OSC Forklift Certification
