Clean Way Services is a marine tank cleaning company located in Portsmouth, VA, primarily providing service to the US Navy and US Coast Guard. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and experienced full-time Office Manager to join our team!

This position will play an integral role in administrative/executive support, customer service, human resources, and overall organizational strength of our company. Qualified candidates will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task, and provide support to a staff of diverse personnel.

• Oversees the operation of the office
• Manages reception area and greets visitors
• Provides clerical assistance including filing, answering emails and sorting mail
• Assists with human resources, including onboarding
• Answers & directs phone calls as necessary
• Drafts, formats, and prints relevant company documents
• Orders office supplies
• Assists with inventory
• Assists with purchase orders and invoicing
• Maintains vendor/customer files
• Occasionally travels offsite for administrative purposes
• Maintains website functions, social media profiles, and assists with IT related issues
• Maintains office equipment (printers, fax machines, etc.)
• Assists in planning and arranging company events
• Other duties as assigned by President/CEO

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, some college and/or business training preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be a US Citizen
• Prior Human Resource experience preferred
• Shipyard/Ship Repair industry experience preferred
• 3 years’ Administrative experience working in an office setting
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
• Strong prioritization and organization skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Adobe
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
