HRU Technical Resources is seeking an experienced, remote IT Risk & Compliance Analyst to assist a multi-national diesel/natural gas corporation

Contract: 6-7 Month Contract (Extension likely OR direct hire possibility)  

Schedule: 100% Remote (40 hours/week, M-F)

Compensation: $52.15/HR

Description: Join our dynamic team as an IT Risk and Compliance Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's integrity and security. You'll assist in executing compliance audits, meticulously reviewing procedures and evidence to ensure the proper application of internal controls. Conducting risk assessments within established control areas, you'll test and document computer system records, ensuring information system integrity and transaction accuracy. Your keen eye for detail will be instrumental in identifying compliance issues and root causes, contributing to the development of audit plans and the preparation of formal reports for management. With your expertise in Black Kite Vendor Risk Monitoring, Cyber Risk Alerts Review, Venminder and Venmonitor Risk Review Process, as well as regulatory and cybersecurity risk compliance management, you'll bring invaluable insights and resourcefulness to the table. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting in the execution compliance audits
• Reviews procedures and corresponding evidence to determine whether or not internal controls are being properly applied
• Executes compliance audits and risk assessments within established control areas
• Tests and documents computer system records for information system integrity and transaction accuracy; reports discrepancies
• Assists in the preparation of less complex audit plans. Identifies compliance issues and identifies root causes for review by manager
• Prepares routine, formal written reports to communicate audit results to management, and makes recommendations as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:

• College or University degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Technology  
• 3-5 years relevant experience
