    The Hospital Director of Pharmacy will be employed by a national healthcare system, working at a state-of-the-art 300 bed acute care hospital in West Virginia. This highly accredited, for-profit hospital is known for their Surgical Services department, Women and Children Services, Trauma Center, and fast pace Emergency Department that sees over 50,000 annual patients.     Based out of a newer, state-of-the-art acute care hospital, the Hospital Director of Pharmacy will oversee all inpatient pharmacy services along with four residency programs and several committees. Responsibilities of the Hospital Director of Pharmacy include managing medication safety, quality assurance, hospital compliance, and overall daily operations. The Hospital Pharmacy Director is also responsible for growing the department through hiring, developing short term and long term initiatives, maintaining quality metrics, and ensuring regulatory compliance, and enforcing policy procedures.

    Ideally, the Hospital Pharmacy Director will have hospital pharmacy management experience overseeing inpatient hospital pharmacy service, experience preparing all survey and accreditation material, prior Joint Commission experience, and experience managing large department budgets.
